Yes it is. There are a lot of sites and info out there that will give you the "whys", but what you should recognize is that eating low carb meals absolutely work to make you leaner and healthier. It also helps those of us with family history of diabetes to minimize our risks. There are a lot worse things you could be doing than lowering your carbohydrate intake. We are bombarded by corn syrups and sugars in almost everything we eat. If everyone just started reading the labels, we might reduce some of our waistlines while increasing our life spans.

These tortillas are a great example of something that can be substituted. If you are like me, you love bread. The average slice of bread is absolutely loaded with carbs. Take a look at the label on the loaf of bread in your kitchen right now. I'll bet you anything that it has more carbs than one of these tortillas. 5g of net carbs is really low and won't spike your blood sugar nor cause the resulting insulin spike that would follow. Anyone following glycemic index type diets is going to be all over that. Think of all the places you could be using this tortilla instead of bread products.
